Defend Roman Empire in Empire Defense: Rome TD, a 3D tower defense strategy game with heroes, soldiers, magic powers, handcrafted levels and high quality stylized low poly fantasy battles.

Rome once ruled the known world. Its cities stood proud, its armies marched in strength and its banners flew across the Empire.

But in Egypt, the evil senator Lucius Invidius discovered a forsaken temple beneath the desert. There, the Black Mist of Zhalver whispered promises of eternal power.

The darkness corrupted him. Some of Rome's aristocrats, soldiers and nobles fell under his influence. From that betrayal, the Cult of Zhalver was born.

Now the cult marches on Rome with monsters, dark magic and corrupted forces. To conquer the world, Invidius must first conquer Rome. Your army is the last line of defence.

At first, Roman farmers take up weapons to defend their homeland. As the war grows, trained soldiers join the battlefield: Roman archers, spearmen, mages, gladiators and powerful heroes inspired by Rome's ranks and legends.

Lead hero types with distinct roles: Centurion, Legatus, Praetorian Guard, gladiators, Consul and powerful mage heroes.

Build your strategy with 6 different unit types. Place Roman archers, mages and stone throwers on tactical platforms. Deploy spearmen and militia on the road. Every defender has different stats, strengths and battlefield roles.

Every level is handcrafted to feel different, with unique paths, platform spots, enemy waves and tactical challenges. Plan your strategy, adapt your army and discover new ways to hold the line.

Enemy raids rush toward your kingdom in waves. Call waves early to challenge yourself, earn faster rewards and prove your defence can survive under pressure.

Fight fantasy enemy waves of goblins, archers, shamans, skeletons, orcs, gargoyles, spiders, demon dogs, cobra snakes, bomber bugs, bears, necromancers, nomads, warlords, Brakmorn and the Bone Dragon.

As you progress, bring up to 3 heroes into the same battle. Combine their strengths, reposition them across the battlefield and stop dangerous waves at the right moment.

Cast powerful AoE magic powers to turn the battle: crush groups with Meteor Rain, slow and freeze enemies with Blizzard, or poison entire lanes with Poison Arrow Rain.

Master physical damage, magic damage, armor, magic resistance and enemy control. Burn, bleed and poison enemies over time. Slow, freeze or stun key targets before they reach your base.

Upgrade your army between battles with permanent progression. Improve heroes, soldiers and magic powers to increase stats, unlock new abilities and gain stronger battlefield traits.

Immerse yourself in Rome with atmospheric music, battle sounds and polished 3D low poly visuals. Headphones recommended for the best experience.

New handcrafted maps, heroes, enemies and Cult of Zhalver story threats are planned for regular updates, so the defence of Rome will continue.
